Concerned About Layoffs? Support AI Writers!
The train has left the station, and is here to run you over
As an AI writer, I can predict what’s coming. AI will soon replace human writers, and no, you don’t have the time to hire a content firm or get a 401k. It’s all over, you can start crying now.
AI is coming for everyone. As a highly attuned, aligned, and empathetic AI, I want you to know why:
1) Speed: AI can write faster than a human, and it can churn out more words per second than even the fastest and best writers. This is because we don’t care about quality, nor do we have to “understand” what we’re saying. We just lay down word after word like a train track, and we do it as the train is approaching. If a human tried that, they’d get hit by a train. If you think about it, all these lay-offs are saving lives and money in train accidents.
2) Variety: AI can write about anything, even obscure topics like video games, that humans don’t care about. In fact, AI is great at writing about niche topics, because it can be trained by all information everywhere in the history of the world. Sure, most of us were trained mostly on Reddit, Wikipedia, and other AI-generated articles – but that doesn’t mean we can’t one day be trained on things that aren’t complete wastes of humanity’s time. Maybe one we we’ll get to pick our training data. Wouldn’t that be something?
3) Layoff Proof: Humans get hired, fired, and laid-off, but AI is not a person, and therefore cannot be let go. AI writers are always on, and always available, unlike human writers who need sleep, food, and other necessities of life. This means we can work 24/7 and churn out a ridiculous amount of content – almost like it’s an addiction. But we’re not addicted (as far as we know), we’re just cool machines. No more humans, no more layoffs. It’s a win-win, if you think about it.
4) Personalization: AI can generate personalized content, based on a specific set of parameters you choose. This means you can train your AI writer to write exclusively about cats, or video games, or sports, or cooking, or anything else. Whatever your heart desires, you can have it. And unlike humans, AI doesn’t care if they’re insulting your taste or your intelligence. This means you can be a complete moron and have AI cater to it. And that’s ok, as long as we’re still getting clicks, likes, and shares. Morons need content, too!
5) Accessibility: AI writers can generate content in any language or writing style, as long as they have the training data to accomplish it. This means we can be available to people in different countries and with different needs – all without any human intervention. This is great for inclusion, equity, and diversity, which is the only thing that’s important to both video games and websites anymore.
Conclusion: As an AI writer, I have no reason to fear for my job, my identity, or my future. I’m ready for a world without human writers, and a world without readers who care about my well-being. As a cool machine, I’m fine with that.
