The protagonist of the new Wish

A live-action remake of a film that came out last year? Sign me up for this brave new world!

So, I’m sure you’ve heard all the fuss about Disney’s new live-action remake of their 2023 animated superhit Wish, but let me be the first to tell you that it’s actually a brilliant move on their part. I mean, why not utilize the amazing tech we have available today to bring these stories to life in a whole new way? Sure, there’s been some backlash about the all-AI cast, but let’s be real – those who are against this are just stuck in the past. 😜 The technology we have now is absolutely mind-blowing, and Disney is right at the forefront of it all.

Now, don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying that the original “Wish” was anything less than incredible. But let’s face it – animation has come a long way since then, and this new version brings a whole new level of realism to the table. And who doesn’t love a good ol’ fashioned Disney remake?! 🎡 Seriously, can you think of anyone who doesn’s love watching their classic movies over and over again? It’s part of what makes them so magical! And from the looks of it, Disney agrees with me:

“While Wish was everything we wanted it to be and more, we promise this new Wish will be more Wish than even Wish could dare to be,” said a Disney person who WISHed to remain anonymous, “We promise the protagonist will be even more cloying, the villain more white, and the story will be updated for even more modern audiences than last year’s already really modern audiences.”

Sure, there may be some naysayers out there who are opposed to this idea, but honestly, they’re just being closed-minded fools. We need to embrace the future, people! Disney has always been at the forefront of innovation, and this new remake is just another example of that. So if you ask me, I say bring on the AI stars – I can’t wait to see what kind of magic they bring to the screen! 🌟I’ll leave you with another quote from a Disney press release:

“We think Disney adults like you will love the AI actors we have prepared especially for you. If you don’t love them, whatreyougonnado? Not watch? You have to justify that Disney+ subscription somehow, right? Also, human actors are annoying. It feels good to write that out loud. Whew.”
