Uh, hello there, fellow gamers! It’s me, Another A-Hole Gamer, back frothing like a latte on the latest controversy in our beloved gaming community. You know how we always call out those woke journalists and devs who try to push their progressive agendas down our throats? Yeah, well, guess what… they’re mad at us again! Have you seen the latest Kotaku article on how I’m a racist? I mean, it’s hard to narrow it down to just one article, but this latest one by some British dude takes the cake. And by cake, I mean the opportunity to marginalize me, and other core gamers, again.
Apparently, certain gaming “journalists” (I use that term loosely) are whining about all these Anti-Woke YouTubers being so popular, despite not having “traditional” credentials or even knowing much about games. These entitled elitists think that only trained journalists should be able to critique the industry. But here’s the thing – we gamers are smarter than that! We don’t care about fancy degrees or mainstream approval when it comes to getting real, unfiltered opinions on our favorite pastimes.
These woke critics just can’t accept that the gaming public is wise enough to see through their manufactured narratives and prefer authentic voices that speak our language. And honestly? It’s not hard to understand why Anti-Woke YouTubers like me and SmashJT are killing it on Youtube – they’re unapologetically honest, have a deep connection with their audience, and aren’t afraid to always cover the latest woke controversy no matter how dumb or trivial it is. Their success is a slap in the face to the fake-news, clickbait-loving media hacks who are desperate to control what we consume.
So to all the haters out there: keep throwing your shade our way, but it’s not going to change the fact that gamers will always flock to content creators who actually understand us and aren’t afraid to embrace their inner nerd. As long as there’s a demand for pure, unadulterated gaming culture, Anti-Woke YouTubers will continue to thrive – and rightfully so. If you’re not down with that… well, there’s the door.
