Men Need to Start Lying and Saying “The Rings of Power” is Good, or More Women Will Die

Have you seen some of the tweets about the Amazon show The Rings of Power? There are thousands of people out there hating it, and they won’t even give it a chance. Sure, the show absolutely sucks. But it’s your white duty to tell everyone to watch it. Let me explain why.

The Rings of Power is set in a less Colonial and more obscure age of Middle-earth as imagined by fanfiction writers, and it features a main character that is getting the CHUDs who espouse hate all up in a tizzy: Girlboss Galadriel. This is not your racist sexist Uncle’s Galadriel, oh no. This Galadriel kicks all the ass and tells all those male elves exactly where they can shove their elf patriarchy. She’s the kind of rare strong woman we NEED to see more of in media. Gentle Reminder to love her.

A recent terrible Star Wars show on Disney Plus, The Acolyte, was already cancelled due to low ratings caused by magic spells cast by CHUD warlocks who are all white, male, and have huge Youtube followings. Afterwards, the star of the show, Amandla Stenberg, practically speaking, died of harassment. Yes, she’s still alive, but reading angry comments is like dying, if you think about it. I’m sure The Mary Sue proved that reading mean tweets = death at some point, I just can’t find it.

Anyway, it’s a pattern we’ve seen over and over again, from books to movies to video games. These evil alt-right depersonable deplorable chum-buckets of impotent incel rage “sic” their similarly reprehensible troll armies on anyone who dares to be even 1% diverse or inclusive, and then the show gets cancelled. It’s like repeatedly watching that Game of Thrones episode where Boromir dies, only he’s a woman and not a fascist.

There have been heroic campaigns by anti-anti-woke Youtubers to get these evil channels demonetized, but The Man says these Nazis haven’t broken any rules. This is why we need new rules. Let’s start with a new constitution that lays out consequences for anyone not on board with our values. Gentle Reminder that we’re not wrong, the Constitution written by old white guys is.

But men in the comments of every show and movie still can’t accept that women have as much right to exist as they do. They just don’t get it. It’s time to take back the narrative and start telling stories that feature female characters who are strong and flawless and not just eye candy or a plot device.
