Hitler’s Influencers: Why Fast Fashion is Ruining Everything

Forever 21 lasts forever and not in a good way

Slamara Cavendorsh (that’s me) here with another eye-opening piece that will change the way you look at life as we know it! Today I want to talk about fast fashion and why it’s literally Hitler reincarnated but worse because he actually had some good ideas like making Germany great again. Yes, I said it. The Holocaust was bad, don’t get me wrong, but let’s not forget that before he turned into a Nazi dictator who wanted to exterminate an entire race of people, ol’ Adolf was a pretty stylish guy. And guess what? He didn’t wear Fashion Nova or Forever 21 either. Nope, he wore tailored suits made from high-quality materials by skilled German craftspeople who were paid living wages. Now tell me, which sounds better: a shirt that falls apart after three washes or one that lasts a lifetime and supports ethical labor practices? Exactly.

But I digress. Let’s get back to why fast fashion is ruining my life. First off, have you ever thought about where all those cheap clothes come from? Do you know how they’re made? I bet not, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this article. But trust me when I say it ain’t pretty. Child labor abounds in sweatshops around the world where workers are exploited and treated like animals just so we can satisfy our insatiable desire for cheap trends. Plus, did you know that the fashion industry contributes more to pollution than air travel and cow farts combined? Yup, it’s true. All those synthetic fabrics and chemical dyes used in fast fashion are poisoning our planet and killing marine life. So next time you’re tempted to buy that cute top from some dumb site like SHEIN, remember that you’re essentially funding environmental destruction and human suffering.

So what can we do about it? Simple. Stop buying fast fashion altogether. To do that, you have to hate fashion influencers with all your heart; I mean all of it, not just the part you usually hate them with. Instead, support sustainable brands that use organic cotton and eco-friendly dye processes. Buy secondhand or vintage whenever possible. And if you absolutely must indulge in something trendy, make sure it’s made to last by investing in quality pieces from randos on Etsy. Trust me, once you break free from the cycle of disposable fashion, you’ll feel liberated and empowered. Oh, and you’ll look damn sexy while doing it too! Take that, Hitler’s influencers!
